News & Info
D G A A stands for Dumfries and Galloway Arts Association.

DGAA was established in 1985 and is supported by Dumfries and Galloway Council and the Scottish Arts Council.

We are an independent arts development agency governed by a Board of Directors and with professional staff serving South West Scotland, a resource for information on regional arts and artists, organisations and contacts and on fund-sourcing for regional arts activities and a pro-active partner for Arts in the Community.

DGAA's prime artform development areas include: Creative and Performing Arts, including Music, Dance, Drama, Literature, Arts in Public and Arts in the Community. There are development programmes within all these areas that DGAA initiates and manages.

Other artform information can be found on this site via links on the Visual Arts and Craft, Film Video and New Media pages.
