DGAA provides a project development and management service to enable the successful integration of the work of artists, craft makers and designers into the external environment.

Over the past five years we have secured significant additional funding to commission artists to make work that enhances an area's sense of place and cultural identity.

Projects have included Striding Arches, Voices from Glentrool & Merrick, Galloway Forest Park Art programme, Whitesands Environmental improvements, Portpatrick Harbour, Agnew Park Stranraer, Sanquhar Heritage Trail, Adamson Square Creetown and Dumfries & Galloway Tourist Board amongst others.
